About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Moab, UT, passionately dedicates itself to cultivating a just and sustainable food system by sponsoring and training committed individuals to become effective teachers and advocates. Our fellowship focuses on empowering participants with vital organic food system education while promoting accessibility by not charging tuition. Over a transformative six-month experiential residency, Fellows engage deeply in hands-on learning at our farm, followed by a Community Action Year where they collaborate with local non-profits, implementing initiatives such as growing and distributing diverse crops, developing school and community gardens, and integrating food education into various community activities. By supporting farmers markets and improving access to healthy foods, we strive to strengthen local economies and foster community resilience. Applications for this impactful journey are accepted until March each year, with fellowships running from May to October.
