Located in West Jordan, UT, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity each year and connect them with tailored weight management options that align with their individual needs and preferences. Participants can engage in group sessions, receive supportive telephone lifestyle coaching, or utilize TeleMOVE! for in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, and we also provide weight loss medications and bariatric surgery as needed for Veterans who face ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
