Located in Abingdon, VA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to provide every Veteran in VA facilities with annual obesity screenings and personalized referrals to effective weight management options. We offer a variety of services tailored to meet individual needs, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which enables in-home messaging and clinician support. Veterans who prefer a self-directed approach can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app, while those facing ongoing challenges may explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
