Located in Aldie, VA, Simple Cooking with Heart/SNAP-Ed is a vital program of the YMCA dedicated to enhancing the well-being of SNAP-eligible residents in the DC area through hands-on culinary and nutrition education. Our engaging four-week classes empower families to develop essential cooking skills and make informed dietary choices, all while receiving two complimentary bags of fresh, home-delivered produce to support their nutritional journey. Currently available virtually, we are committed to making healthy living accessible and achievable for all, fostering a community centered around wellness and food assistance.
