Located in Annandale, VA, South County Recovery and Drop In Center (SCRDIC) is dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness in a welcoming and stigma-free environment. Our mission is to empower individuals by providing essential resources such as assistance in obtaining benefits, housing, and access to Community Services Board (CSB) resources. We also offer a computer lab with Internet access, hot meals for lunch and dinner, snacks, and employment support. SCRDIC fosters community engagement through recreational activities, including field trips, holiday celebrations, and barbecues, while also providing practical services like one-on-one peer counseling, food giveaways, landline phone access, showers, and laundry facilities. We are committed to nurturing recovery and resilience, welcoming all who seek support.
