Located in Danville, VA, God's Storehouse is dedicated to providing vital food assistance to those facing difficult times, including the elderly, single-parent families, and struggling youth. Our mission focuses on meeting the basic nutritional needs of families by offering food boxes that supply up to four days' worth of sustenance. Customers can select their preferred type of meat and produce when available, ensuring a personalized experience. In addition to food, each visitor can choose one household or toiletry item from our shop, which is stocked entirely through generous donations. Our inventory typically includes essential items like soap, cleaning products, toilet paper, diapers, and feminine hygiene products. We serve individuals receiving SNAP, Medicaid, or SSI benefits once a month, while others can access food boxes every two weeks. Additionally, anyone whose income has been affected by COVID-19 is automatically eligible for assistance.
