Time to Fly is a dedicated, faith-based organization located in Fairfax Station, VA, committed to empowering survivors of domestic violence through a comprehensive and nurturing approach. Our free 3-Step program caters specifically to women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, focusing on restoring self-worth and identity. Participants engage in counseling, parenting and nutrition education, essential life skills, financial education, and computer classes, all within a supportive community framework. Our workshops cover critical topics such as understanding the roots and effects of domestic violence, addressing the barriers to speaking out, and discovering God's plan for individual lives, as well as proven steps to heal relationships. Additionally, our After Care Program offers ongoing support, emphasizing life skills workshops and access to vital resources for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. Childcare is provided during trainings, which are offered quarterly, with capacity for up to 50 women and 15 children per session. At Time to Fly, we are passionate about guiding individuals towards a brighter future and helping them navigate the challenges they face.
