Emergency Meal Units, located in Fairfax, VA, is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to families in urgent need. Through our Good News Community Kitchen program, we deliver emergency meal units that contain vital dry goods aimed at fulfilling basic nutritional needs. Each unit includes a 1lb bag of rice, two cans of beans, and a 1lb package of whole grain old fashioned oats, ensuring families have access to wholesome meals. If you are facing food scarcity, we invite you to complete our online form to request an emergency meal unit, and once registered, you’ll receive a meal kit bi-weekly.
