At Warehouse Food Distribution in Gainesville, VA, we are committed to providing vital food assistance to low-income individuals and families who need support. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to emergency food that meets their nutritional needs, offering enough to sustain families for three to five days. Through our participation in the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Program, we distribute boxes of essential canned and dried goods twice a month, designed to supplement other food sources. To access our services, first-time visitors must complete an application, and all clients are required to reapply annually. Additionally, for those in immediate need of emergency food assistance, we require a referral from a County Social Worker, with a limit of eight referrals per calendar year. We are dedicated to helping our community thrive by ensuring that access to nutritious food is available for all who seek it.
