Located in Gainesville, VA, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and has access to a range of personalized weight management options. These services include engaging group sessions, convenient telephone coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. Additionally, Veterans can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed weight management or explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who require further assistance.
