Located in Galax, VA, PRS Recovery Academy Day Program is dedicated to providing essential psycho-educational support for individuals on their recovery journey. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to empower participants to engage meaningfully with their community through work, volunteering, and education, all within a nurturing and normalizing environment. Each client is encouraged to focus on their personal recovery goals while identifying themselves as students in recovery. Our program includes vital topics such as anger management, anxiety management, coping skills, and wellness recovery action planning (WRAP), as well as practical subjects like job readiness, nutrition, and financial management. Clients typically attend the program for 3-5 hours, 3-5 days a week. The HOPE Fund ensures that anyone in need can access our services, regardless of their Medicaid eligibility.
