Simple Cooking with Heart/SNAP-Ed is dedicated to enhancing the lives of SNAP-eligible residents in Great Falls, VA, by offering essential culinary and nutrition education through the YMCA. Our program empowers individuals and families with practical cooking skills and nutrition knowledge, delivered through engaging four-week classes designed to fit busy lifestyles. To further support our participants, each household receives two complimentary bags of home-delivered produce, ensuring access to fresh, healthy ingredients. Currently, our classes are conveniently offered online, making it easier for our community to learn vital food preparation techniques and make informed dietary choices.
