Located in Lorton, VA, South County Recovery and Drop In Center (SCRDIC) is dedicated to providing a supportive and stigma-free space for individuals facing mental health challenges, substance use issues, and homelessness. Our mission is to empower community members by offering essential resources such as access to benefits, housing assistance, and support from the Community Services Board. We foster a nurturing environment with a computer lab featuring Internet access, where individuals can seek employment assistance and connect to vital services. Our center provides nutritious meals, including hot lunches, dinners, and snacks, alongside a variety of recreational activities like holiday parties and outings. Additional services include food giveaways, peer counseling, landline phone access, and facilities for personal care such as showers and laundry, all aimed at promoting dignity and community engagement in the recovery journey.
