Located in Marion, VA, the Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive and free 12-month learning journey. Offering resources in both English and Spanish, the program features six informative e-booklets that cater to the various stages of diabetes management, along with a monthly e-newsletter packed with seasonal tips and community event information. Participants who choose to provide their phone numbers can engage directly with ADA experts in a monthly Q&A series, where they can ask questions about diabetes, explore the important connection between diabetes and heart health, and access helpful giveaways designed to foster thriving lives with diabetes. Our goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their health effectively and confidently.
