Food Bridge is dedicated to providing immediate food assistance to residents of McLean, VA facing temporary financial challenges. Our program accepts referrals for individuals who are in stable housing yet find themselves in urgent need. Once a referral is approved, clients can visit our office to receive a one-time emergency food pack filled with essential non-perishable items and toiletries such as laundry detergent, toilet paper, and diapers. In addition, clients will receive a grocery store gift card to help ease their financial burden while they work alongside their social worker to achieve stability. This support is aimed at those experiencing short-term crises, and eligibility is restricted to clients living within Fairfax County, who must be referred by a qualified agent. We invite social workers and referring agents to facilitate the process, ensuring that individuals can access the assistance they need to regain stability in their lives.
