Located in McLean, Virginia, the South County Recovery and Drop In Center (SCRDIC) is dedicated to providing a welcoming and supportive space for individuals facing mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness. Our comprehensive programs ensure access to essential resources, including assistance with benefits acquisition and housing support through the Community Services Board (CSB). We offer a variety of services such as a computer lab with internet access, hot meals, snacks, and employment assistance. SCRDIC also hosts recreational activities, field trips, and food giveaways, while providing crucial amenities like landline phone access, showers, and laundry facilities. Our one-on-one peer counseling creates a nurturing environment to promote recovery and resilience within our community.
