Simple Cooking with Heart/SNAP-Ed is dedicated to enhancing the culinary skills and nutritional knowledge of SNAP-eligible residents in Oakton, VA. Our program offers comprehensive cooking and nutrition education that spans four weeks, ensuring participants gain practical skills to prepare healthy meals. In addition, each attending household receives two free bags of fresh, home-delivered produce to complement their learning experience. Currently, our classes are offered virtually, making it easier than ever for the community to access essential food assistance and nutritional support.
