Located in Palmyra, VA, PRS Recovery Academy Day Program is dedicated to empowering individuals in their recovery journey through a structured, psycho-educational curriculum. Our focus is on facilitating personal growth by helping clients engage in meaningful community activities such as work, volunteering, and education. We provide a supportive and normalizing environment where everyone can pursue their recovery goals while identifying proudly as a student in recovery. Our comprehensive program includes essential life skills training in areas such as anger and anxiety management, coping mechanisms, job readiness, nutrition, and wellness strategies, alongside important topics like grief and spirituality. Clients typically participate in our program for 3-5 hours a day, 3-5 days a week, ensuring flexibility to meet their needs. To enhance accessibility, the HOPE Fund supports those who may not qualify for Medicaid, allowing them to receive valuable services and guidance on their path to recovery.
