Located in Radford, VA, Time to Fly is a dedicated, faith-based organization committed to empowering survivors of domestic violence through a comprehensive counseling and training program. Our free 3 Step program is designed to help women and children in Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland reclaim their self-worth and identity. Participants benefit from essential services such as counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial education, computer classes, and a robust support network. During our workshops, clients explore crucial topics including the roots and effects of domestic violence, the barriers to speaking out, and discovering God’s purpose for their lives, along with proven strategies for healing relationships. Our After Care Program addresses spiritual, emotional, and practical needs with life-skills workshops, and offers referrals for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. Childcare is available for our sessions, which are held quarterly, providing valuable resources to up to 50 women and 15 children each time. At Time to Fly, we believe in nurturing resilience and guiding individuals toward a brighter future.
