Located in Radford, VA, the PRS Recovery Academy Day Program is dedicated to empowering individuals in their recovery journey through a comprehensive psycho-educational curriculum. Our program fosters a supportive and normalizing environment, allowing clients to focus on their recovery goals while identifying as students in recovery. We equip participants with essential life skills through classes in areas such as anger management, coping strategies, and job readiness. Additionally, our curriculum covers nutrition, social skills, and wellness recovery plans to promote holistic healing. Clients typically attend our sessions for 3-5 hours each day, 3-5 days a week. Thanks to the HOPE Fund, we ensure accessibility to our vital services for those who may not qualify for Medicaid or public funding, creating pathways for everyone to achieve their recovery potential.
