The South County Recovery and Drop In Center (SCRDIC) in Reston, VA, is dedicated to providing compassionate support for individuals facing mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness. We foster a welcoming, stigma-free environment where members can access essential services, including assistance with housing resources and Community Services Board (CSB) benefits. Our center features a fully equipped computer lab with Internet access, along with hot meals for lunch and dinner, and snacks throughout the day. We also offer employment assistance, field trips, and recreational activities like holiday parties and barbecues. Additionally, SCRDIC provides vital resources such as food giveaways, landline phone access, peer counseling, and facilities for showers and laundry to help our community members rebuild their lives with dignity and support.
