Time to Fly is a compassionate, faith-based organization dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence in Sandston, VA, and the surrounding Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland areas. Our comprehensive, free 3 Step program is designed to help women and children reclaim their self-worth and identity through a variety of supportive services. Participants benefit from counseling, parenting and nutrition education, daily life skills training, financial education, computer classes, and a robust support network. Our workshops delve into the roots and effects of domestic violence, guiding individuals toward understanding God's plan for their lives and how to heal relationships. With a strong emphasis on spiritual support and practical resources, our After Care Program also addresses ongoing needs, offering life-skills workshops focused on financial management, nutrition, and access to essential referrals for housing, childcare, and employment assistance. Childcare is provided during training sessions, which are scheduled quarterly to serve up to 50 women and 15 children per session, making a meaningful impact in our community.
