Located in Vinton, VA, MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and connected to suitable weight management services tailored to their unique needs. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging and support from clinicians. For those who prefer to take charge of their journey independently, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to guide them. Additionally, we assist Veterans who need more intensive interventions, such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery, after exploring initial MOVE! options.
