Located in Vinton, VA, PRS Recovery Academy Day Program is dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to recovery by providing a supportive and educational environment. Our program features a comprehensive psycho-educational curriculum that encourages participants to engage in meaningful activities within their community, whether through work, volunteering, or education. Clients join us for 3 to 5 hours a day, 3 to 5 days a week, focusing on their recovery goals while identifying as students in recovery. The curriculum covers essential topics such as Anger Management, Anxiety Management, Coping Skills, Nutrition, Job Readiness, and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), alongside crucial life skills including Money Management and Social Skills. To ensure access to our services, the HOPE Fund supports those who may not qualify for Medicaid or public funding, reflecting our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility in mental health care.
