The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Arlington, VT, is dedicated to training and empowering the next generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Our Fellowship program sponsors selected individuals who participate in a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they engage in organic food system education and hands-on training. Fellows will learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education initiatives, maintain community gardens, and integrate ecological literacy into education. Throughout their journey, they are supported in building local food coalitions, mentoring future fellows, and enhancing access to healthy food options through farmers markets and direct-to-consumer channels. We believe in making this vital training accessible to all, which is why we do not charge tuition. Applications for our program are accepted until March each year, with opportunities starting in May.
