The Essex CHIPS Youth Food Shelf in Burlington, VT, is dedicated to ensuring that no youth in the Essex Westford School District and their families experience hunger or lack essential supplies. We provide a welcoming space where individuals can access shelf-stable food, clothing, toiletries, and school supplies at no cost and with complete confidentiality. Families are encouraged to visit during our open hours to select the items they need, with no limits on how often they can return. Youth participating in our in-person services can easily access the Food Shelf by speaking with our staff. To maintain a supportive environment, we operate by appointment from Monday to Thursday, offering convenient access for those in need while providing a no-contact pick-up option. Our mission is clear: to support every youth and their family in overcoming food insecurity and obtaining the essentials for their well-being.
