Community Food Shelf in Danby, VT, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to those in need within the community. Operated by BROC Community Action, our mission is to ensure that individuals and families can access nutritious food to meet their basic dietary requirements. We distribute emergency food at our locations in Bennington and Rutland counties, available from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily, with an additional Friday afternoon service from 2 to 3 p.m. specifically catering to seniors aged 60 and over. We warmly invite anyone facing food insecurity to visit us and find the support they need.
