Located in Danby, VT, Food Cupboard is dedicated to combating food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. Our program is designed to meet basic nutritional needs and also offers diapers for young children, ensuring that all families can access the support they require. Clients may visit us up to six times each year, with appropriate documentation needed for food assistance—just bring proof of your name and current address. For diaper requests, no documentation is required. In response to COVID-19, we have implemented safety protocols, including mandatory mask-wearing and social distancing within our facility, and we kindly ask all patrons to bring their own bags.
