About Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC)
The Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) in Derby Line, VT, is dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through comprehensive services, including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and health care referrals. In response to challenges posed by COVID-19, we’re currently offering remote services to prioritize safety while adapting to meet the needs of our families. We have expanded our list of available food options to help those facing difficulties in finding WIC-approved items, and we remain committed to working with local stores to ensure that essential WIC infant formula remains accessible. Families can reach out to us by phone to learn more about how to access our vital food assistance services.
