Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and referred to suitable weight management services that align with their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program that provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we recognize that some Veterans may need further assistance, which is why we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who have already utilized MOVE! but continue to face weight-related challenges.
