The Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) in Fairlee, VT is dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. By offering vital services such as nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, and breastfeeding support, WIC empowers families to develop healthy eating habits. Our program also connects families to essential healthcare resources. In response to challenges posed by COVID-19, we are currently providing services by phone and have expanded our list of available foods to include items that may be harder to find. We are committed to ensuring that WIC-approved infant formula remains accessible and encourage families to check with customer service at local stores if they encounter difficulties. We are here to help nurture the health and wellbeing of our community's youngest members.
