MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Huntington, VT, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually, ensuring they are guided towards appropriate weight management services tailored to their individual preferences and needs. We offer a variety of treatment options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home messaging plus clinician support. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, while Veterans requiring further assistance can access weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after completing the MOVE! program.
