The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Jericho, VT, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. This transformative program empowers Fellows through comprehensive organic food system education without tuition costs, ensuring accessibility for all. Participants engage in hands-on experiences at the Allegheny Farm, where they learn to grow and distribute diverse crops on a market-style farm, facilitate innovative health care educational sessions, and support local farmers markets and community gardens. Throughout their six-month immersive residency, Fellows also develop vital skills in food and ecological literacy that they will apply during their Community Action Year, working alongside regional non-profit organizations.
