The Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) in Jericho, VT, is dedicated to nurturing the health of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC provides essential nutrition education, supplemental food resources, breastfeeding support, and referrals to necessary health care services, ensuring families have access to vital resources for healthy growth. Adapting to the challenges of recent times, we are currently offering services through phone consultations. In response to difficulties in sourcing certain WIC-approved foods, we have temporarily broadened our food list to include additional options, while actively collaborating with local stores to maintain the availability of WIC infant formula.
