About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Manchester Center, VT, we are dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become passionate advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows gain hands-on education in organic food systems, supporting initiatives that promote social, environmental, and economic equity. Our program is designed to enhance community engagement, allowing Fellows to develop skills in growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing educational sessions in innovative healthcare, and fostering food and ecological literacy within schools. We also enable the growth of community gardens, support farmers markets, and help create distribution channels that enhance access to healthy foods. By providing this transformative education at no tuition cost, we strive to make our Fellowship accessible to all.
