Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to comprehensively screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and guide them towards tailored weight management services that align with their individual preferences and needs. Offering a range of support options, MOVE! provides engaging group sessions, accessible telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative TeleMOVE! services that allow for in-home messaging and clinician connections. Veterans can also take advantage of the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-management or, for those facing ongoing challenges with weight, explore medical interventions such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
