The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Milton, VT, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. This innovative program offers comprehensive training that empowers Fellows to champion equitable, environmentally sound, and economically viable food practices. Participants receive hands-on education in organic farming, engage in community initiatives that include managing school gardens and supporting local farmers markets, and learn to integrate food and ecological literacy into educational settings. By promoting accessibility through a tuition-free model, the Fellowship ensures that all aspiring advocates can contribute to improving local food access and community health. Selected Fellows experience a transformative six-month immersive program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their skills with regional non-profits.
