The Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) in Montpelier, VT, is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to provide crucial support through nutrition education, supplemental foods, and breastfeeding promotion. We also connect families with healthcare resources to ensure comprehensive care. In light of recent challenges, we are currently offering services by phone to facilitate access and have expanded our food list to include more easily obtainable items.
