About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in the heart of Moretown, VT, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship provides a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about creating a just food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable. Our program empowers Fellows through comprehensive training, equipping them to become advocates and educators in organic food systems. We proudly offer our Fellowship tuition-free to ensure accessibility for all. Over six months, selected Fellows engage in hands-on learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, focusing on diverse practices such as growing and distributing crops, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food and ecological literacy. Following their immersive experience, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, fostering partnerships with regional non-profits to implement their acquired skills and promote food access and sustainability. Applications are welcomed until March each year, with the Fellowship experience running from May to October.
