About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in New Haven, VT, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through comprehensive training and hands-on experiences, our Fellows learn to promote social, environmental, and economic justice within agriculture. The Fellowship offers a tuition-free program to ensure accessibility for all aspiring leaders. Participants engage in a six-month immersive training at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they receive organic food system education and gain practical skills to support diversified crop cultivation, establish community gardens, and integrate food literacy into educational settings. Following their training, Fellows undertake a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to expand access to healthy food, support local farmers markets, and contribute to food coalition efforts. We invite passionate individuals to apply for the Fellowship by March, with the experience spanning from May to October, helping shape a healthier, more equitable food future.
