About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in North Troy, VT, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders committed to creating a food system that embodies social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program empowers Fellows by providing comprehensive training in organic food systems without any tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Throughout a six-month experiential residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in hands-on learning while developing skills to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education sessions, maintain community and school gardens, and enhance food literacy in educational settings. After their residency, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to promote equitable access to healthy food through farmers markets, direct-to-consumer initiatives, and community food coalitions. Join us in our mission to transform local food systems and strengthen community connections.
