Food Cupboard, located in Poultney, VT, is dedicated to fighting hunger and supporting families facing food insecurity by offering essential food assistance. Our mission is to ensure that every individual and family in our community has access to nutritious food to meet their basic needs. We provide a welcoming environment where clients can receive food and diapers without the stress of lengthy documentation processes; however, to access food, individuals must show proof of identity and address, allowing visits up to six times a year. As we prioritize the health and safety of our community, we have implemented COVID-19 safety protocols, including mandatory mask-wearing and social distancing inside our facility. We invite you to bring your own bags when you visit us, as we work together to combat hunger in our area.
