Located in Proctor, VT, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and connected to tailored weight management services that align with their individual preferences and needs. We offer a variety of care options, including supportive group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides valuable resources, while Veterans struggling despite these efforts can explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
