The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Randolph Center, VT, is dedicated to nurturing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with their infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers essential services including nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion, and vital referrals for healthcare. In light of recent challenges, we have expanded our list of approved foods to ensure access to necessary items, including WIC infant formula. While in-person visits are not currently feasible due to COVID-19, our dedicated team is here to support families through phone consultations. We remain committed to providing the resources needed for a healthy start in life, ensuring that nutritious food is accessible for those who need it most in our community.
