At the Youth Food Shelf in Richmond, Vermont, we are dedicated to ensuring that no young person and their family within the Essex Westford School District faces hunger or lack essential supplies. Our mission goes beyond providing shelf-stable food; we also offer clothing, toiletries, and school supplies to support the diverse needs of youth and their families. We invite families to visit us freely during our open hours, where they can select the items they need with complete confidentiality and at no cost. Young people involved in Essex CHIPS in-person services have the added benefit of accessing the Food Shelf while on-site, simply by communicating with a staff member. Appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., ensuring personalized support and accessibility for all who need it.
