The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Saint Johnsbury, VT is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. Our program sponsors and trains Fellows to engage in comprehensive education on organic farming and food systems, completely tuition-free to ensure accessibility for all. Over a transformative six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows gain hands-on experience in growing and distributing diversified crops, facilitating innovative health education, and instilling food and ecological literacy in schools and communities. After their residency, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to implement meaningful initiatives that enhance access to healthy foods, support farmers markets, and promote food-based community coalitions. With a commitment to social, environmental, and economic justice in our food systems, we invite passionate individuals to apply by March for our seasonal program running from May to October.
