Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran who utilizes VA facilities for obesity on an annual basis, ensuring personalized referrals to our diverse weight management services that cater to individual needs and preferences. MOVE! offers a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and support from clinicians. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, alongside options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require additional assistance. We encourage interested Veterans to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards effective weight management.
