Community Food Shelf, located in Shaftsbury, VT, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families facing hunger in our community. Operated by BROC Community Action, our mission is to meet the basic nutritional needs of everyone we serve, ensuring that no one goes without healthy food. Our welcoming food pantry operates in both Bennington and Rutland counties, distributing emergency food to those in need from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with special hours for seniors over 60 on Fridays from 2 to 3 p.m. We invite anyone requiring support to visit us and benefit from our programs designed to uplift and nourish our community.
