Located in Shaftsbury, VT, the 966 Main Street Shelter, operated by the Bennington County Coalition for the Homeless (BCCH), provides essential emergency shelter and support for families and individuals navigating homelessness. Our services are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, ensuring that everyone has a safe place to rest and access vital resources. We provide short-term overnight shelter along with a welcoming drop-in center that includes case management, clothing, food, bedding, personal care items, and access to bathrooms and showers. Once admitted, guests can secure their bed each night as they work with our dedicated housing case managers toward a sustainable plan for permanent housing.
