MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in South Burlington, VT, is dedicated to enhancing the health and lives of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and connected to appropriate resources, allowing them to choose from a variety of weight management options. These include engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! in-home communication system, as well as the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-directed management. For those needing further assistance, we also offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options for Veterans who may struggle despite previous efforts. We encourage Veterans interested in losing weight to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to embark on their journey toward better health.
